What has happened in the Gulf Mexico has gone beyond my wildest dreams concerning this Use It Up! project. In the past I’ve advocated that we actually drive, burn, and just generally use more of our non-renewable natural resources. This means that the resources I advocated using have already been processed and readied for consumption.

British Petroleum, or BP, has really taken the concept to heart (and to the Gulf and surrounding states…I’m sure there will be more for this list in a later post) up a few notches and skipped the whole refining process and decided to just dump their raw crude oil into the ocean! Wow! That’s brilliant and it really helps speed things up and should get us on our way towards developing, or using more, renewable energy resources. So, a big thanks goes out to BP for giving the United States a big push towards the path to cleaner energy sources! Way to go BP!

Excellent news from Washington and I couldn’t be more excited! Let’s all hope that they find something worth pumping out and for us to burn. Not only should we all be chanting “drill, baby drill”, but also “burn, baby burn!” and maybe even “use it up, baby, use it up!” I knew if I kept at this long enough that somebody would listen, and now it seems the have.

What?!?! Is this guy serious? Are you serious? Why are people against “clean coal”? Do they hate America or what? Clean coal is the answer for all of our energy needs and I intend to do my part to make sure it’s an energy choice we have in the future. We neeeeeed it! Lots of it!!!! Burn it, burn it, burn it! Burn it all up! It’s for the good for us and the world that we stop using dirty old coal and move on to “clean” coal.
